Good question. Edgar did something like that during an American tour. He wrote two Einstein quotes in some city council guestbook:
“Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism – how passionately I hate them.”
“Force attracts men of low morality.”
