The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG).

The following privacy policy informs you about the collection and processing of personal data on this website. It will explain how we handle your personal information and what you can expect when using our services.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

With every visit to this website (partially personal) data is collected automatically. The following data is collected for the purpose of creating visitor statistics on the use of this website, to improve the website and to protect against cyberattacks:

  • Date and visit of the URL where the visitor is located
  • URL that the visitor visited immediately before,
  • used browser,
  • used operating system,
  • the IP address of the visitor.

In order to make your visit on our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, so-called "cookies" are used. These are small text files that are temporarily stored on your computer. No personal data is stored by you. After the end of the browser session, the cookies used are deleted from your computer again (so-called "session cookies").

Google Analytics is NOT engaged on this website and therefore no data is transmitted to US companies for this reason. Services from US companies currently pose particular data protection risks because the USA does not have an appropriate level of data protection under the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

If you use this website without changing the cookie settings of your browser, you agree to the use of cookies.

More about this and how you can refuse and delete cookies in our Cookie Policy

Web statistics: Matomo (self-hosted)

For data protection reasons, we do NOT use GoogleAnalytics on this website for the statistical evaluation of usage, but rather the self-hosted version of the open-source tool "Matomo" (formerly "PIWIK") (server location and hosting operator in Austria). As a result, no data is transmitted to servers or third parties that are beyond our control. The analysis is deactivated when you visit our website. Your usage behavior will only be recorded anonymously if you give your active consent.

For this purpose, the information obtained by Matomo (e.g. date and time, title and address of the page accessed, address of the previous page (if this allows it), screen resolution, etc.) is transmitted to our server and stored so that usage behavior can be evaluated. Your IP address and your user ID as well as your location will be anonymized; this way you remain anonymous as a user. The information generated about your use of this website will not be passed on to third parties.

We undestand this analysis as part of our service and would like to further improve the website and adapt it even more to the needs of the users. You can decidewhether a web analysis cookie may be stored in your browser to enable us to collect and analyze statistical data.

This website engages fonts by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).  Services from US companies currently pose particular data protection risks because the USA does not have an appropriate level of data protection under the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

Google Fonts are used without authentication and no cookies are sent to the Google Fonts API. Even if you are logged in to a Google-account, none of your Google Account information will be transmitted to Google while using Google Fonts. Google only records the use of CSS and the fonts used and stores this data securely. Read more on this and other question

Social Media

For privacy reasons, our website does not use any plug-ins of the well-known social media networks (eg Facebook's "Like-Button", Twitter's "Tweet-Button", ...), as these buttons already work when loading the linked social media network Transmit information without the users having any influence on it.

In detail, the following special features arise for the social media networks:

Our Facebook profile is displayed in an iframe on our website. The provider is Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Services from US companies currently pose particular data protection risks because the USA does not have an appropriate level of data protection under the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

In order to ensure data protection and to prevent your data from being transmitted to Facebook when you visit our website, Facebook is initially deactivated. A direct connection to the Facebook servers is only established if you activate Facebook yourself by clicking on "Reload" (consent according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

After activation, a connection to the Facebook servers is established and certain data is usually transferred to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there, e.g.:

  • the address of the website on which the integrated iFrame is located,
  • date and time the website was called up or the button was activated,
  • information about the browser used and the operating system used,
  • your current IP address.

We have no influence on the amount of data that Facebook collects using these plugins. However, it can currently be assumed that Facebook will receive the information that you have accessed the relevant page on our website. If you are logged in as a member of Facebook, Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When using the plugin functions (e.g. clicking the "Like" button, posting a comment), this information is also assigned to your Facebook account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plugin. The active use of Facebook plugins is subject to the data protection conditions and terms of use of Facebook Inc. Information on the collection, storage and use of your data by Facebook Inc. can be found in the Facebook data protection guidelines / privacy guide.
